Fierce One Collectibles - Jimmy & Riel

Handmade on the Crow (Apsaalooke) Nation.

Collectible Dolls by Carrie Moran McCleary.

The "Fierce One" Doll Collection is inspired by Indigenous doers, thinkers, and innovators. Each doll is uniquely named with a thoughtful, detailed, backstory and reflects 10 hours of craftsmanship.  They represent young Indigenous people brimming with potential who are guided by their ancestors.  These dolls wear brightly colored ribbon t-shirts, reflecting contemporary styles because we, as Indigenous peoples, are always changing and redefining ourselves.

We are still here.

Jimmy's Story

"I'm named after my uncle who fought in Vietnam.  I'm a dancer.  I love to dance every style from tap to ballet to fancydancing.  Show me a dance floor or a pow-wow arena and I'll show you my moves."

Riel's Story
"My parents tell me that I"m named after Metis activist Louis Riel.  I'm learning to play the hand drum, and I love singing 49 songs with my uncles."
