What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from your order ship date to drop your return off with USPS. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used to make the purchase. Please note that all apothecary, gift cards and sale items are final sale.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you receive it. It must also be in the original packaging and include a receipt or proof of purchase.

In certain situations we will issue a partial refund if,
1. Any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
2. Any item is returned more than 30 days after delivery


What if I my item was a gift and I need to return it?

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be E-mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.


How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once delivered, please allow 3-4 business days for your return to be processed and 5-7 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. If you do not see the return in your account after 10 days, please contact us at orders@byellowtail.com


How do I make a return within the U.S.?

1. Put anything you don’t love back in the original packaging.
2. Go to https://byellowtail.returnly.com and follow the on-screen steps to create and print a free return label.
3. Note your tracking number if you want to check on the status of the return while it’s en route.
4. Stick the return label on the mailer.
5. Drop off the mailer at any USPS drop off location or schedule a pickup.


How do I make a return from outside the U.S.?

Reach out to Customer Service, orders@byellowtail with your order number and the items you want to return, and we will provide more detailed instructions. Any duties and taxes paid are Nonrefundable. 

*All returns and refusal of international packages for non-payment of taxes / duties customs are subject to a restocking charge equal to 15% (fifteen per cent) of the Invoice.*

Can I exchange my items?

We are sorry, but we are unable to process exchanges. If you would like to exchange for a different size or color, please return the original item(s) for a full refund and place a new order.
