BROCADE STOPS BLACK EAGLE
I was born and raised on the Crow Indian Reservation where my husband and I raise our three beautiful boys. I graduated with my bachelors of science in Nursing in 2006 and have been working as clinical nurse at our local Indian Health Service.
I also enjoy trail-running with my husband and have completed a few Ultra-Marathons.
When I was a young girl, I was first introduced to beading by my Grandmother. I actually started to create my own pieces when I was in middle school with my Mother.
I am inspired by mother who had a keen eye for design structure and color scheme. I create designs and colors inspired by traditional old Crow designs.
I hope to be able to share my art with the entire world and inspire others to take up beading.
My hope is that 100 years from now, the pieces i’ve made for my children will be passed down to their children and so on and so forth.
