Dear Family, Friends and Community:
Today, we celebrate 7 Years of B.Yellowtail
This brand, which launched out of the living room of my small Los Angeles apartment, has now grown beyond our wildest dreams. We couldn't have done it without you.
Over this past year, we have achieved so much, both as a company and as a community.
We launched our Affirmations Tee - which was a call to action to end the #MMIW epidemic and raised money for the Kaysera Stops Pretty Places Justice fund. We released even more beautiful inspired collections that told stories of the places and people we love. We also moved into our first HQ - a new 6,500sq ft dream office, a true full-circle moment for us.
As a community we saw more representation than ever before and celebrated big moments that we will remember for a lifetime. We saw Sen. Deb Haaland promoted to become the first Indigenous Secretary of the Interior in our country’s history. We watched more Native representation in Hollywood TV & Film with shows like Rutherford Falls created by Sierra Ornelas (the first Native show runner) and celebrated with our inner rez girl each time we watched Reservation Dogs on Hulu.
This year was an ever constant reminder that every day is a good day to be Indigenous, and we are still here. More than ever!
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support throughout the years. Whether you followed us, liked a post, shared us to your friends and family, or made a purchase. We are here because of you, and we are endlessly grateful that you have chosen to become a part of our community, and a part of this movement to transform the fashion industry with authentic, Indigenous designs.
